It's 18 minutes til Wednesday and we're still on last weeks poll? Not trying to be a jerk, but if we're going to aim to be a serious poll in years to come, we might need to be a little more on top of the schedule.

I agree that we need to be more reliable with our schedules..including us getiing our rankings in on time. I know that I have had a couple of weeks where I was late due to a terminally ill father, but usually I will make the time limit. It seems as if the leaders of this poll have lost interest. Only once or twice have we had the scores to show how we are doing updated and it seems to get later and later each week. Not pregnant doging really because time is a valuable resource to all of us,but I think the entire ship needs to be righted for the poll to be taken seriously. We can all do better..from the top to the bottom. So,if nothing major has happened to anyone,we need to get our votes in on time and the administrators need to get the poll and scores posted regularly as well. Ok..thats my pep talk for the week..LOL. Seriously,we do need to do better as a whole for this to succeed..it really does appear to be on life support now. Peace.

My goal for this poll is for it to become a part of the computer scores in the BCS system in the next 2-3 years, and maybe 5 years from now, to be a major component apart from the computer polls. If that's going to happen, we'll all have to be better about getting our scores in on time, but I think it'd be a better system. I mean, look at how our poll differs from others. The design is to not have it where a preseason top ranked team has more favor than a team that started out with low expectations and went undefeated. It's designed to not have a standardized system for wins and losses. It's a unique poll that tries to kill any claims of "east coast" or "west coast" bias. We love our schools, but we aren't being paid by anyone, and we have no personal relationships with any coaches or programs... I think this is what a college football poll should be, just a bunch of people who love football.

I agree Matt. I love my Mountaineers as much as anyone, but I think that I have actually rated them a little lower than I wanted to each week(until this week) just to make sure that I wasnt showing bias. However,I think that they are one of the top 3 and as good as anyone. The loss to South Florida was a backbreaker, but considering that WVU gave them 6-7 turnovers and still were in the game..that speaks volumes. LSU is an awesome team with a dynamite defense for sure and Kansas..well,undefeated and still going regardless of what people might think. I guess we will really get to see what Kansas has the next couple of weeks. I really hope this poll can get better and we can gain some respect. It really would be great to be part of the bcs computer rankings..we have our work cut out for us but it is a nice goal. Take care guys.

I love Tennessee, it's my every personal hope that they beat Kentucky then upset LSU. But I've been ranking them lower than anybody every week so far. They just really haven't proven themselves outside of a games against Georgia and Arkansas.
Kansas is not as high in my rankings right now compared to other voters (odd because I had them ranked the highest in the opening week of the poll). If they come out and beat Missouri and Oklahoma, they've earned atleast the number 2 spot... I dont' think any other team can keep that from them.
