I just finished updated the website and finally got to see any major differences the Axiom Poll as a whole in comparison to the other major polls.
Pretty similar with the big differences being the rankings of Virginia Tech and Cincinnati. In comparison it appears we, as a poll, feel Virginia Tech is overrated by others and Cincinnati is underrated. Will be interesting to see how it looks at the end of the season.
Personally I have Cincy up at #9 as they have handled every team with ease. They start getting into the thick of the schedule now but Coach Kelly has added an offense to compliment their solid D. Very balanced team that looks scary.
What are your thoughts?

While I didnt have Cincy as high as you,I agree that they are not getting the recognition that they deserve. However,as they get into the meat of their big east schedule,if they continue to impress they will most definitely get some national recognition. Thanks for all the hard work you do with the poll. I am really enjoying being a part of this unique poll. Take care.

In my last ballot (the poll isn't up for this week yet) I have Cincinnati at either 7 or 8...can't remember which one... but yeah, their body of work looks impressive. Connecticut looks oddly strong, I'm still kind of pondering whether or not that has more to do with the level of competition or not... but they've played strong. I'll need to see them hold their ground against the likes of West Virginia and South Florida before I'm really comfortable with having them in my ballot, but according to that body of work so far, I think they might be a top 15 team.

I still want to see at least one more week of Cincinnati to justify moving them farther up. They are still a "new team" in my opinion, and while they do look very strong thus far, I really want to get a little bit better view on them. South Florida, on the other hand, sparked my interest last year. So far they haven't disappointed. Boise State could also pull a ranking with me if they continue to bounce back from their 2nd week loss to Washington as well.

Yeah, once Cincy and UConn gets on the field with WVU,USF and a few other tough Big East schools..we will see just how good they are this season. I think both are good teams, just not sure if they are top 10 or 15 just yet. I think that the Big East is much stronger..top to bottom than it has been in years, including the last few years when Miami was in the conference. Should be a wild, wild finish in the Big East.
